Just back from the pub and the bartender bet me I couldn't find out the name of this movie. He saw it twice in the 70's (possibly early 80's, but doubtfully) as part of a double bill. All he can remember is a wooden house, possibly with picket fence and a big orchard and a man/boy finds a body under a load of apples(?) and the first thing that he uncovers is a pair of breasts. i hope someone can help with this very vague description. But if anyone can...

I may have seen it years ago, too, as this scene sounds vaguely familiar. Could have been one of the Italian productions back then, but that's just a guess, too...

Thats such an oddly vague yet alluring description is likely to be wayyyy of the reality of the actual scene.

Just curious, does this guy know the name of the movie and trying to test you? Or is he asking you because he dosen't know either?

Because for someone who saw a movie twice, he sure has a bad memory, if he can't come up with anymore scenes.

The uncovering of breasts first reminds me of "Blood Spattered Bride" but that was on a beach, not under a bunch of apples.

The barn and apples reminds me of "In Dreams" but that one isn't too old.

You're almost certainly thinking of the 50-minute 1981 British short, "The Orchard End Murder." You have some of the details slightly mixed up, but I'll be shocked if this isn't the flick:

12 years later, I doubt that bartender cares or remembers that bet anymore.

Ha. I didn't check the dates. Was just looking to see if anyone else had seen this, and this was the only game in town.
