Sounds like a fun thread. Anyways, I'll update the list as more people give there answers. This might help people to decide which movies to watch this Halloween season. Nothing like watching a great Halloween flick when autumn hits .. (which is right now where I live). Anyways, I'll start this off ...

    Here we go:

    Halloween (duh!)
    Day of the Dead
    Ginger Snaps
    House of 1000 Corpses
    Idle Hands
Night of the Demons 1 and 2 (possibly 3)
    Trick or Treat
    The Clown Murders
    Jack-O
    The Fear: Halloween Night
    Deadly Friend
Pet Sematary Two (duh! i should have known that!)
    Dark Night of the Scarecrow
    The Midnight Hour
    American Nightmare
    Cementerio del terror
    clownhouse
    the crow-not exactly horror
I've been waitng for you(tv movie)
    nightmare before christmas

    Lookin' good guys!

Of course, when I put HALLOWEEN on the list I meant the series. I think almost all take place on Halloween.

There's one called Twin Falls, Idaho. It's not really horror but still kinda weird/odd/disturbing. It's about siamnese twins falling in love with a goth chick. Some scenes take place on Halloween.
    Great flick tho.

Day of the Dead? I never realized it was on Halloween

  15. yeah, check out the calender at the beginning (I know it was a dream sequence, but still...) and at the end....the events in Day take place during the week of Halloween (with the big day being Halloween day)

"The Exorcist" has a scene that apparently takes place on Halloween even though this isn't clarified within the movie itself. Do we not see trick or treaters running by Chris McNeil as she is walking home from the shoot that evening with Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells" as the musical backdrop? Sure looks like it to me. ;)

Can't believe I seen the movie that many times, and it never clicked.
