Years ago there was a thread where someone posted a bunch of artwork to a bunch of cheesy 80s horror novels. I can't find it. Anyone know?

Actually it may have just been a link to another site. Maybe that is why I can't find it.

There used to be a yahoo group dedicated to Zebra horror books from the 80s that had quite a few scans. Not sure if it still exists - does yahoo even have groups anymore?

I sounds vaguely familiar, but sorry I can't help you. As a kid of the 80s I was a big fan of a book series called Twilight (not to be confused with that OTHER series lol). Or maybe that was just the name of the publishing house. Anyways, good stuff. Or maybe not. Adult me might consider them crap now for all I know.

I know you can see alot of them just by typing. Vintage horror novels. In google images.

I remember the cover of one book called Crooked Tree with a bear on it, but when you open the cover the inside artword was of a half-bear, half-woman thing. It scared the hell out of me when I was a kid.

Damn it, Dave. Great. Now I have to seek out and read "KILLER CRABS" - with a title like that I can't pass it up.
