Very nice limited edition from "OFDb Filmworks"

Tthere is also a standard edition available, though it lacks most of the extras.

Rogue One (Target 3D blu-ray). Shitty extra features (no commentary, deleted scenes, gag reel, trailers, etc). Even the exclusive bonus disc only adds two new featurettes for a total run time of 10 minutes. I'm going to assume there will be an eventual double dip with more substantial extras in the near future.

I also picked it up at Target yesterday. I would guess that Disney will definitely re-release it in the future to milk it for all its worth, probably on UHD also if they ever begin releasing on the format. Whenever the next Star Wars movie comes out will probably be the ideal re-release time.

I agree. Disney at least said a special edition of The Force Awakens would be released at a later date, which it was in 3D (which is why I held out for its release). I bought Rouge One yesterday because they released it on 3D and I'm a sucker for bonus discs. Despite having a 4K setup, only the Star Wars unaltered OT would interest me. I'm content with the rest in 3D.

I don't like The Resurrected, but... holy crap, that is a phenomenal package.

I mean it. A lot of work clearly went into that. Was Dan O'Bannon anywhere in the extras? (Since he's passed on?)

It is a very nice set. I bought it back in 2015, and am kind of surprised another release hasn't shown up somewhere by now. It would be hard to top this as far as the bonus features and packaging are concerned however.

Dan O'Bannon appears in some of the archive bonus features from what I can recall (there's a 1992 Fangoria award segment).

There's a review of the release here: http://www.mondo-digital.com/resurrected.html

The package and extras are top notch.
Especially the interview with Chris Sarandon, is great, and he talks about some of the problems Dan had working on set, since he was very sick at the time.

If you told me last year, after seeing the first trailer for this flick....that I would be purchasing the blu ray a year later, I would have said you're off your fucking meds. But here we are..... I'm actually extremely excited to revisit this, especially in HD.
