Anybody else notice that the woman on the STAR SLAMMER poster is holding a stormtrooper blaster from the original line of Star Wars toys.

Many Kino titles are currently about $13 each via DVDPlanet with 10% coupon code LUCKY and 8% cashback via TopCashBack. I picked up Up The Creek, Highway To Hell, and Gorp, plus I had a $5 Frequent Buyer's Club reward from DVDPlanet.

Anyone interested in a TopCashBack referral, let me know. If you use my referral link, once you reach $10 in cashback, we both get an extra $10 bonus.

That's unusual considering that LionsGate still has the sequel. (The first sequel?) (The one with... Hilary Swank?)

Yes, Kino- you have my permission to re-release these if you're ever interested.
    ;)

What kind of movie is FATHOM? Or are people just fawning over it because Raquel Welch is hot?

Probably. The DVD was in bargain bins for $3 for a while.

If I recall correctly, it's a Bond parody. But all I really remember is that RAQUEL WELCH WAS REALLY HOT. Ha.

Is it just me or are most of Kino's announcements just aren't that exciting anymore?

It seems like they've announced so many titles in such widely ranging genres that it isn't too exciting for many of them, I agree. But they still are releasing quite a few exciting genre titles that I really doubt any other studio would mess with licensing them to release. They're pretty much the undisputed kings of getting previously only MOD DVD-R's released to Blu-ray.

    10K Reviews posted a review of Kino's Miracle Beach blu-ray: http://10kbullets.com/reviews/m/miracle-beach-bluray/

... but scroll down to the extras:
Extras for this release are limited to trailers for Miracle Beach, Teen Witch and Up the Creek.

Does this mean Kino will be releasing one of my all-time favorite movies!

As a fan of 80's cheese I want to love Teen Witch. But I can't. It just doesn't work for me.

Happy for its fanbase though :)
