I'd hold on for a little while because it's rumored that Scorpion is re-releasing this in the near future remastered
At the price being offered I could live with the Odeon. Tower of Evil isn’t a movie that I need in the best quality possible, and the blu ray is already a major step up from my 20 year old DVD.
It was just an estimate. Would calling it a 19 year old dvd help any? But yeah, right there with you. Tower of Evil was a part of my very first order online, waayy back when dvdplanet was still called kencranes.com.
When DVD entered the stores, VHS was 20 years old, which felt like forever. Now it's 20 years since I bought my first player, and imported Prom Night, and it feels like only 5-6 years ago... Hell, BD still feels like the NEW format...12 years later
Funny, but completely forgot about this conversation about the Odeon. The Scorpion disc is considered a new release this week so I got it at Bull Moose for $18. Oh well. Amazon uk’s shipping is still too high anyways.
