What is the difference between the LE and what is on sale? I bought mine over a year ago and have no idea which one it is.

Edit: I just have the regular edition since it didn’t come with a book. Still, it’s well worth the money.

I was going to place an order but shipping to the U.S. was over $30.00 so I passed.

    ?

Mine was less than £5 for 2 discs. How many did you plan on getting?

I placed five movies (two were box sets) into the cart. When I went to check out it was £25 for shipping. No other shipping offers were given. Since that bumped the cost by over $30 I decided to not place the order.

The standard version also lacks the double-sided poster and deluxe packaging, but I'm pretty sure the disc content (2 discs) is exactly identical. I grabbed the LE when it was first released, which was well worth it for the 80-page book ... but even the standard version this cheap would be a no-brainer.

Weight and size can be an issue when shipping from the UK. I once tried to order a Doctor Who lego typed Tardis set for my son and the shipping would have been over $100. You might have better luck dividing it up into smaller orders.

Thank you very much! I've been looking to get Wolf at a good price for ages now.

Still worth the grab. I ordered the LE box set as soon as I heard about it, not necessarily to get the extra goodies, but because the film is a personal favorite and snapping up a blu upgrade when I had the chance was irresistible.

I would’ve gotten it if I didn’t already have the Shout Factory. I like the movie, just not quite enough to need an upgrade even at this price.

After holding off for a long time, I finally bought the Indicator edition of The Legacy last week (I've never actually seen it - this was a blind buy for me). I would've grabbed the SF edition, but after going through the screenshots on caps-a-holic, there is a noticeable difference between the transfers -- even though they're the same source -- where the Indicator has a much healthier bitrate/compression/better colour timing/black levels. They were both about the same price if I used my Amazon discount so I decided to get the Indicator release. It should arrive this week (pending a global shutdown of everything lol) but it would be nice to get it while I'm "social distancing".

It's funny that my last two Indicator titles were Eyes of Laura Mars and The Legacy. The directors of both movies went on to make Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, respectively.

I love The Legacy, it's been a favorite of mine since the VHS days. The Indicator Blu-ray is a lot better than the SF Blu-ray (which I also own) in both the transfer, having both versions of the film, and the bonus features and thick booket.

The bad thing was the original pressings of it had a defective disc that either locked up or began to pixelate at a certain point in the movie on most players. They did later issued a replacement disc, so I'm sure all copies they now ship direct have the corrected disc.

Watched Wolf a few nights ago with my wife. Hadn't seen that one in years. We both enjoyed it. One of our fave werewolf movies for sure :D

It’s been a month, still waiting for my discs. I’m a patient guy but this is straining my patience. I received my amazon uk order that shipped out the following day last Saturday.

They did send you a postal tracking number didn't they? It would have been an email from Lime Wood Media with a header of "A shipment from order #***** is on the way"

Whoever delivered my mail forgot to scan it back on March 20th though. o_O It did arrive fine, but they often do that with foreign shipments for whatever reason.

They sent it standard post with no tracking. As I said previously, I didn’t get any email telling me that it had shipped. I had to contact them directly to find out it shipped on the 18th.
