Deffo buying Straw Hill, I've seen the Doc and it's very good
HOUSE ON STRAW HILL and BRUTAL NIGHTS OF LINDA are now both in replication. Street date is 10/8, just to be on the safe side. Glad to see they're both finally making it out!

I will but "Straw Hill" mainly for the Video Nasties doc. I was severely disappointed with HOUSE OF SEVEN CORPSES, Severin's last release. Not the disc itself, but the film - I thought it was too tame and unconventional (if that makes any sense). And what's with that ugly modern font they're using for the covers? Makes the films seem like new productions.

Excellent. Just got to wait for my copy of this and Corruption to wing their way over the Atlantic. I wonder what my chances are of getting a copy with the video nasties documentary? Fingers crossed no customs involvement. I just have to decide now what i am to do with my old bootleg DVDs of these titles now?

DVD Drive-In review:
House Of Seven Corpses was on TCM late last night. I was going to record it, but decided not to waste the DVR space. Most of the reviews I've seen for it are pretty bad.

DVD Savant weighs in on Straw Hill
Recieved my copy today(along with Corruption) and I got one of the limited edition versions with the Video.Nasties extra DVD. Excellent
Glad I ordered these early as they(especially Corruption)seem pretty scarce. Only one copy of Corruption on Amazon.co.uk and the seller is asking £40!
I never take chances on limited editions. I ordered Corruption from Diabolik as soon as it became available and I'm glad I did because apparently they are scarce. The Severin stuff is apparently more easily available, even the limited editions, directly from their site but still - get 'em while they last if you have ANY interest in the VHS tape (House on Straw Hill) and bonus DVD.
I didn't get the VHS tape.I thought something was missing.
