Check this out, I put on RZ Halloween (never saw the director's cut) only to find I have two Disc 1's. I've never had an issue like this with blu-ray before. I sent Scream a message through their website. I checked all the discs when I opened the 15-disc set, but I didn't look too closely I guess.

I've just finished rewatching the Friday the 13th Blu Ray boxset and Crystal Lake Memories Blu Ray and I can't see what else they could do besides a proper 3D release of part 3?

How about individual cases like the beautiful Halloween set not some crappy tin where the discs all float around:fuck: And of course uncut footage that will probably never happen, fuckin Paramount.

These guys seem to be on top of their game. My order has already shipped with tracking and since it's coming from NJ I expect it'll arrive by the weekend :)

Exactly, which I still don't understand... except it being for some rights or legal issue with the Discussion Panel or whatever.

If they could have just left the disc alone, they wouldn't have even had the disc screwup in the set.

If they actually put that back on the replacement disc, which I highly doubt, that would be the ultimate irony.

All fair suggestions but after buying all the Friday the 13th films twice on DVD and again on Blu Ray, I wouldn't re-buy a blu boxset for JGTH uncut (as I kept the DVD) and individual cases. Not had any problems with the packaging myself. I don't think too many extras were missing from the previous boxset?

The uncut footage and proper 3D part 3 would be an easy sell for me but I think most of the footage is lost or can't be put back together. Unless that happens, I feel more than satisfied after watching the boxset and a 6+ hour documentary, so I can live content. I don't think there is much else that can be said on F13 besides releasing part 3 in 3D and uncut footage.

getmore. I agree about the 3D. doubt we will ever see that. But I would love to get a time machine and go back to summer of 82 and see it on the big screen in super 3D, everyone I talked to that seen it back then, said the 3d would blow away anything digital 3D we have today..

I had the worst experience with Friday Part 3 (and I saw it 3 times that August 1982 in 3-D). For some reason  if you saw the film at the Century in Reno 1982 then you might have heard mixed reviews of Part 3's 3-D. In short, none of it worked for me EXCEPT the opening credits. Everything else in the film made me go cross-eyed and then made the image "split" in half. The 3-D worked for some and not for others. The same thing with JAWS 3-D and the other 3-D films of 1982 and 1983. When things seemed to get too close to my face, the effect was completely ruined.
However, fast forward to the 2000's and the Castro in San Francisco ran Friday 13th pt. 3, Jaws 3-D and others...the 3-D was flawless. I know, right?
Still, wonderful memories. But I remember being really disappointed in 3-D back then.

apparently the replacement disc is the same as the 2012 release with the scenes in the kitchen earlier in the film out of sync

It was confirm on Blu-ray.com forums says it doesn't have the discussion panel.
Incidentally, are the kitchen scenes in sync on the original box set disc?

They fixed the kitchen scenes which apparently is what set off the later larger sync issues for the box set, they have now apparently gone back to the 2012 release which has less sync issues aka the kitchen scene

Got mine last week from them after doing a google search for the set at a decent price....never heard of them before, but they seem pretty fuckin stand up in my book. I got a bottle opener/flashlight thingy along with a coupon too.
