Halloween Complete Collection coming to blu!

    I still have the charge on my CC but no set. If it shows up, then fine, TCM can keep the money but if it does not show up and they won't refund me, there's going to be some problems! lol I've sent them several emails but no one has responded. Their customer service seems to be non-existent.

    In my experience with TCM courtesy of the Lady from Shanghai blu-ray, their email system is rather poor. You'll get results by calling them.

    I'm having the exact same problem...

    I paid via PayPal and the funds say status "Pending". Meaning TCM has the funds, but they either need to complete the order or void it to send the funds back. They've only sent me the cancellation email with the 30% offer. So my funds are currently in their limbo and I can't access them.

    Sent some emails to TCM about this and all I've gotten back is an automated reply of "expect contact from us within 24 hours".... and that was 2 days ago.

    I contacted Anchor Bay about Halloween 4. I posted a while back about a small bit of damage to the case of 4. It wasn't terrible, but bothered me anyway. So, I asked about the audio and if it would be possible to get a replacement for the case. Here was the reply I got:

    "We are aware of the Halloween 4 audio issue and are addressing as best we can. I am sending you an empty case to replace the damaged one but cannot replace the disc at this time. Stay tuned and we will announce what the plan is.

    Thank you."


    It sounds like they might address the audio problem, and they do replace damaged cases. I'm pleased by that.

    Great news about your case! I hope they address the audio issue. My disc isn't too bad, but even a tiny bit off is too much for me.

    there is a lot of unhappy people so I think they might fix it.

    Is there any concrete info as to whether the original Anchor Bay blu-ray had the audio problems? Did someone post that there were still problems but the sync was even more so off or lasted longer on the boxset blu-ray? I have the AB blu-ray and the special edition DVD that I was going to keep anyway for the missing writer commentary and H4/5 panel discussion.

    From what I've discerned between this thread and the one on blu-ray.com:

    Group A: No sync problem on AB blu or Box Set
    Group B: No sync problem on AB blu, yes sync problem on Box Set
    Group C: Slight sync problem on AB blu, much worse problem on Box Set

    No one has really mentioned either way if the Divimax dvd had any problem

    I'm guessing there must have been a bad batch or something because my copy of H4 from the box set is perfectly fine. I really hope Anchor Bay makes it right for those who have issues though.

    Just to give you guys a heads up, TCM cancelled my order just like most of you, but my Boxset from them just showed up in the mail.

    My order placed 9/22 8am eastern. Still have a pending charge despite cancellation. Still have my fingers crossed. On our way to Disney so I have to wait a week to see.

    I ordered Sunday night and got a cancellation notice on Tuesday. The next day I called PayPal and told them to reverse the charge since the order was cancelled and had my money back in my account yesterday and the box set showed up at my door today. I'm not an asshole so I feel kind of guilty about getting this for free when there's people out there who would love to own it and can't afford it. I'll wait to see if TCM comes after me about it in any way and if not, I'll probably just hold onto it and try to find a huge fan that would love to own it, but can't afford it and just send it their way. How I'm going to determine that I haven't figured out yet. I ordered directly from Scream to get the lithograph so I don't need a second one. I just went for the TCM deal for the hell of it never really expecting it to pan out.

    I ordered Sunday morning after seeing this offer posted on several websites. I paid through pay pal and the charge does show on my credit card. No refund has been initiated and I am still empty handed. Despite the fact that I was one of the very first group of people who ordered. So I am not sure what to think seems like people who are getting the box are just random. So anyway how was it shipped usps, fedex or ups?

    Mine was shipped through USPS, although some people got theirs from UPS.
