First!!! Cool poll! I'm going with the jack-o-lantern mask, as it was the Halloweeniest to me......and, quite frankly, I'm hungry as I type this.
to go along with this thread, i feel it's only fitting to include the original sale advertisment from FANGORIA december 1982 issue...of the original silver shamrock masks......
Skull. Watching this movie when I was twelve or so, the skull mask was the only one I would've worn. The witch was for girls and the pumpkin was for little kids. And, I know for a fact that I would've pulled that big SILVER SHAMROCK disc off the back of the mask. Not because the magickal device in it, when activated, would turn me into bugs and snakes, but because that big corporate logo on the back of my head wouldn't look "realistic." And three masks isn't much of a "line." I'd think they'd at least need six or seven -- add in a Dracula, Frankenstein, and Wolfman at the very minimum.
i personal love all 3 , and each would make great collectables...although i prefer the 1982 prices for them...
While you all ponder: http://216.69.134.192/halloween3.mp3 I picked the skull. That thing just looks badass, however the Pumpkin would come in a close second.
Ahhh, Thank You so much for posting that! I have actually been trying to get that issue of Fangoria off of eBay just to get to that ad again. Damn rare issue to win at a decent price it seems. Wow! It's only fitting that I can't afford that. I will just admire from a distance.
I like the actual Skull mask better but if I had the pumpkin I could be the headless horseman and that would be bitchin'! So I guess I'd vote Pumpkin.
