Most associate "Phantom" in a title to mean solely something in reference to Gaston Leroux's famous THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and while that is mostly true, there are still many Phantom pictures that carve their own niche. So far this month alone we've reviewed two Phantom pictures, THE PHANTOM CARRIAGE and THE PHANTOM OF HOLLYWOOD. Which Phantom Philm from the list is your favorite?
To be specific, the 1929 re-issue / re-release version of the 1925 film. Which I believe changed a lot of it, so it's worth counting as a seprate film. (To a degree.)
Phantom of the Mall: Eric's Revenge would get my vote. I never tire of watching it, even though its plot is often quite laughable.
I voted for Phantom Of The Paradise. But Phantom Of The Rue Morgue is one I've been dying to see again. I used to have it taped off TNT. Loved that movie when I was a kid!
The silent PHANTOM OF THE OPERA for me.Saw it in the theater as a kid with a live organist performing, great memory !
