Favorite Friday the 13th?

I chose part 4. Great death scenes with the return of Savini, and Jason's death was gruesome!

 

Part 1

 

I voted for part 2.

 

Not many people like part 3, but for some reason I love the film. Maybe it is the cheesy 3D shots that they filmed, but the movie has a certain charm. I love all the Friday the 13th films and could watch any of them on any given night. Even the new ones are fine with me because as ludicrous as they are they are no more unbelievable than part part 6 when Jason comes back to life.

 

Part 1 is still the best and scariest to me.

 

Part one is my favorite. I enjoy all of these movies a lot though, well, except for Jason Goes to Hell.

My vote went to THE FINAL CHAPTER, although I could have easily picked any of the first four movies. This has been a series that has been the most satisfying for me, since the first was never a classic like HALLOWEEN, TCM, ANOES, or any of the other masterpieces that were turned into franchises. The first film was a cheesy little exploitation picture, and most of the other parts in the series pretty much equal it in terms of quality. It has been a very consistent series, even if the films after the 80s have been a noticable notch below in terms of quality.

 

Part 7

Jason finally gets a worthy opponent.

 

Parts 4 and 5 are pretty much neck and neck for me. I love both very, very much, though don't get me wrong. I also love every film in the series except for Part 8. Like Part 5, Jason X is severely underrated in my eyes, and is loads of futuristic fun.

 

Part 2. Jason is just down right creepy in it.

 

Part 1, the sequels (Jason X excluded, cause it's fun) are utter garbage.

 

Friday the 13th: Undefeated!

Friday the 13th (Part 1) rocks ! It's much closer to reality than the rest. I mean, could've happened in the real world (being the Jason-getting-out-of-the-lake thing a dream of course).

Favorite Friday The 13th

I Am Going With The Underdog Friday The 13th Part 8
Because It Gets Him Out Of The Woods And In The Big Apple

 

I picked part 4. But I had a hard time choosing between that one and parts 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

 

I don't really care for this series, but i've never seen any in their OAR, just on VHS rental tapes. The ones I DO enjoy, for some reason or another -- Part 2, Part 6, Part 8, and *gulp* Jason X. I wouldn't purchase any of these, though. I'd be interested in seeing them in OAR, if it matters.

 

I had a hard time picking between part 2 and 4. Part 2 was great with the introduction of Jason as the killer and Part 4 had great death scenes. I ended up going with Part 4.

 

Part 1. Total classic slasher. Part 4 is a close 2nd for me, but that's probably more sentimental than anything else. I enjoy all of them, but they could never top the 1st.

 

I recently watched Part 5 and it's the best out of the ones that I have seen. I have only seen parts 2,5,9,10, and 11 if you count Freddy vs. Jason.

 

I voted for Part 8 simply because I like the locations where the killings took place -- onboard a ship and Jason stalking the lead characters among the streets of Manhattan -- awesome & unique scenes created for the movie (u don't see this in any other slasher films)!!
