God I hope there's not another delay for Elvira. How long can it possibly take to get the foil issue fixed?! I've got my fingers crossed for next month like they said in their last email.
Just curious. Cinespectral said the reason for their site being down is because of DDoS attacks and until they can figure out a better security the shop will be closed. Questions, Who the hell would want to DDoS attack such a unknown site? What would be the motivation there? Seems odd to me, but what do I know. 2 months , and they can't just get a new site up and running? Also, when aswering a customer worrying about the delays and about the PayPal Protection Time frame running out. They only respond with exact this quote "As for buyers protection deadline... earliest would be september 3rd" NOT, don't worry we'll ship before that time comes OR don't worry we will honor all our sales OR don't worry we will refund any customer even though the time frame goes past 180 days.... They sure know that last date don't they. Sorry guys, until I get the Blu's I don't trust them anymore. I hope they prove me wrong, and I will be happy to admit I was worrying for nothing.
Just seen this on another website, regarding this release: I'm afraid this release won't happen any time soon. According to rumors this company is broke and will soon file for bankruptcy. Obviously not sure how true this is (It was on Dread central), but I thought I should bring this information here for any one interested.
Guess I'll give them a couple more weeks, at least til the July 28 release date, and see what they say when they past the release day. Then will contact paypal and get my money back. What say you guys?
Jesus, that's reassuring. If it is true that doesn't sound good for us at all. That's what I'm thinking as well. If it's going to be another delay then all I can think is scam.
I hope this isn't true but given the delays and the non-functional website I have a feeling it probably is. Based on the list of features and the official plugs from Elvira I don't think it was a scam from the start. More likely a small company just got in over their heads. If the features are all produced and the scan made, maybe another label could step in and pick it up for distribution. I don't even care if the mediabooks don't happen, I just want the movie with the commentary and making of documentary.
The reason why I mention getting money back is because we have 180 days to file a complaint per paypal purchase protection rules. I think the cut off might be the beginning of September. Funny that Cinespectral knew exactly the cutoff date September 3rd. Hmmmmm? https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-safety-and-security
On a side note, anybody that was interested in Hell Comes to Frogtown can buy it from Amazon.de At least this way no money will be lost if it never ships. Wicked Vision Media is handling the blu-ray anyways, not Cinepectral. So if anybody picked up HCTF along with Elvira at the now closed "shop", you might wanna secure a copy here. As far as I know, its' the only place to get it. Most updated shipment date is August 25th at Amazon.de. And yes they have both covers. Cover A https://www.amazon.de/Hell-comes-Fr...=UTF8&qid=1500475270&sr=8-1&keywords=frogtown Cover B https://www.amazon.de/Hell-comes-Fr...00475290&sr=1-18&keywords=Wicked-Vision+Media

Bill from Code Red has his say about this release: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=13870526&postcount=674
Thanks for the link. Ok, but I don't see the comments at the bottom? Edit: Never mind , it was my browser blocker. Thanks I see them.
http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=13873281&postcount=693 The check discs exist: I still think these will indeed come out, and I've really never been worried about it ... it's just a new studio who got in over their heads.
Well that's certainly more reassuring. When I mentioned scam before, it was more to do with further delays without reason. Not that I thought a product never existed in the first place or anything like that. I just think if they're going to delay it again that they should be upfront about the reasoning as I won't believe it's a foil or manufacturing process issue on the book anymore.
