Cinespectral posted on 3/17 that there were less than 200 copies left of Design A and C. Design B still has "some more left": http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=13363290&postcount=165
Damn, I was hoping this would be on its way to me soon. June 19th feels like a while away but hey, at least they are planning to do this set properly before sending it off. That I applaud them for.
I got an update from Amazon.de It says Hell , will be released June 30th. Shipping "arrival time" ... July 17th 2017 Funny, I ordered Hell, back in December 2016. Which was supposed to come out last fall. The delays with this company are amazing. I've been following these two releases for about 10 months now. I specifically remember they said (right from the companies mouth) that hell would be sold through Amazon, and they MIGHT have about 100 copies to sell when they open their OWN online shop to sell the Elvira blus. Well Hell is STILL not sold out at their site or Amazon. Can't sell 100 copies on their own site? Either they are lying about the number of limited copies or they really can't sell these movies. Elvira isn't sold out either. Not even close I bet. Just think about it, there are ONLY 1500 copies of Hell in total. And it's been available for pre order at a major online retailer for 5 months. And they have pitching the releases for about a year. Kinda makes sense now when Bill (you know who) complains he can't sell 1000 copies of whatever title. Bottom line, as long as I get a good product, I'll be happy whenever they get delivered.
I honestly don't really mind the delays. I'd rather just wait and get a superior product as opposed to an inferior product. The studio has been upfront about the delays and what caused them, etc. and you have to remember that these are their first releases, and it seems like they want to do them right instead of rushing to get them out the door. And if you pre-ordered from them and just want a refund, they've apparently had no problem issuing those to people who have pre-ordered.
Three days away to release date. ..................... website has been down for days. Last answered question on facebook on 6/14 "we are awaiting final status update by the manufacturer. Frustrating for us too... we will let you and all customers know once we got the update."
They posted on Blu-ray.com that the website had a Spam attack (or something) so it was taken down and should be back up on Monday. It doesn't sound like the release date is going to be made, again, though.
The funny thing is that I haven't been to ANY of their blu-ray.com threads since April(no joke). Just happened to try their shop website this week to see if anything was sold out(like they said they were almost sold out 3 months ago). I even completely forgot when the release date was until I check their facebook. Little did I know of the ton of activity in the last couple weeks on Blu-ray.com Must be psychic. Plus from my older posts, you can clearly see I've been riding this ride from last Fall and before. If there is a delay again, its' gotta be the forth time now that they officially had a release date. What's even more disturbing is the Hell Comes to Frogtown was supposed to be released BEFORE Elvira last fall(2016) Even that has a late July release date.
Got that email update too. I thought it was nice that they're going to put in a little surprise as an extra to say sorry for the delay. Let's hope it makes the new date.
That 7/28 date they just announced in the email was already the release date for HCTFT from months ago.
Now take this however you guys want to read it but: My Amazon.de order (which I made back in 2016) of Hell Comes To Frogtown says August 25th, 2017 release date. BTW, if you may ask why I bought it from Amazon.de, well back then in 2016 this was the only place they were selling it through. Cinespectral had no online store (funny they currently don't have one now either). This is where they said to go to purchase HCTF Back to the release date issue. I only looked because I just got a new shipment update (4th TIME!!!) from Amazon.de Says Arriving 6 Sep - 11 Sep
