We lost a genius.
RIP Don. One of the absolutely funniest people ever.
Very sad news indeed One of my favorite comedians.
RIP Don. No one could/can tackle comedy the way he could. Thanks for the innumerable laughs.
An absolute comic legend. He was still hysterical well into his later years. He will be missed. R.I.P.
A true icon. Don Rickles delivered some of his funniest material in the countless Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. Many years later he was also great in Martin Scorsese's Casino. Rest in peace, Mr. Warmth.
An icon. Off stage he was said to be a sweetheart, even sentimental, but when he was on he was the King of the zinger and few could keep up with him. He also knew how to take a target down in a way that wasn't just crude or mean spirited, but clever. You WANTED him to take a shot at you because if he did that meant he liked you or found you interesting. Anyone can be obnoxious but Rickles was a master of the put-down. It's the difference between a drunk heckler and world class comic, showmanship ! Rest In Peace.
Watched Muscle Beach Party not that long ago. RIP.
I hate the title of the video but it's still one of favorites. The original mic drop. He was the best.
