Looked pretty crappy to me. May watch it just for the cast.

Sadly that is usually a warning sign.
Seen too many modern low budget films, filled with 80:s horror actors in the cast, that are just bottom of the barrel trash.
I like Hatchet, but that is basically the only good stuff that Kane Hodder has been in, since...forever.
Dee Wallace looked like she was bored to death :D

Sorry for being a negative old fart here ;)

Gotta say, I didn't think it looked great, but I'm ready to give it a chance.

I gotta agree myself. Not knocking the effort but just observing the first trailer it looks sort of "cheap"

Will definitely give it a watch on the account of Kane Hodder and Gunnar.

Neither did I. Not familiar with her name so I didn't pick up on who that was.

Saw this today at a local theater, early show at 12:45. Only three people there: myself, my wife, and some guy who went by himself. Can't speak for the other guy, but my wife and I thought it was awful. Really wanted to like it, but there is so very little to recommend here. The cast should be the selling point. The two younger leads (both playing agents) were wooden at best. Annoying characters with lousy dialogue in many ludicrous scenes. The genre all-stars outside of Kane Hodder and Dee Wallace are given so very little to do and mostly amount to cameos.

I realize this film was a long time in the making, but honestly it feels like a cheap and sloppy rush job. I have no idea how much of Gunnar Hansen's story remained intact since his passing in 2015. I see that the director has a co-writer credit. Whatever happened, the end result is a fucking mess of a film. Underused characters, many phoned-in performances, and a convoluted story that tries to do too much and accomplishes so very little.

I watched this tonight, I was never that enthusiastic about it after the rather lacklustre trailer, but with the talent here I had to give it a chance.

I wish I hadn't, I really want to say something nice, but I can't, unfortunately it was fucking awful.

I'd like to explain the story, but I can't really as it makes no sense, it's just a mess, for example it starts with Tony Todd, I have no idea why, he's at the beginning and end, he has no relevance to the 'story', it's like they wanted to get him in there, and shoe horned him in any way possible.

Then for about 30 mins the 2 agents go into different areas, meeting different doctors they talk crap for a bit and then wear virtual reality masks before moving on to another area. When the pulse takes out security, and the shit hits the fan, when I expected the movie to finally start, it doesn't, it just goes from one poorly written, amateurishly shot what the fuck moment through to conclusion.

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this is the most disappointing waste of genre talent and the worst film I've seen this year, it's bad on levels I can't begin to express here.

    As expected then.
Except for Hatchet, when Kane Hodder is part of the cast of a new movie, it's usually a warning sign.
Him, Danny Trejo, Robert Englund, Tony Todd, etc. seem to sign up for any crap these days.

Watched this last night on VOD. Yikes.

The production appears to have been piecemealed together to fit in as many cameos as possible (no one beyond Wallace and Crampton have substantial roles). The plot relys on a VR tour of the prison facility holding all these horrible killers so that they can add digital glitches to hide the fact that they just threw a green screen behind nearly every horror icon and filmed their (usually) one scene. The overall plot is ridiculous and gets worse as it goes on as supernatural elements are added.

The whole thing is straight faced and serious, but to a ridiculous extent. At one point our two lead agents (the focus of the story, not any of the genre stars) slide down an elevator cable firing their guns in a horrible visual FX shot as metal blasts on the soundtrack and we’re supposed to take it seriously! Having a little fun with such a crazy premise might have helped, but then again when humorous lines are attempted they land with a deafening thud.

There’s nothing here beyond seeing horror stars briefly interact with each other, but you’ve seen better in the Hatchet films (which I’m not a fan of, but are so much better than this) or at any convention.
