    There's a sequel coming out...?
    Wha??
    Who's directing it?

Martin Weisz. With such a powerhouse director, try to keep your celebrating to a minimum. You'll need something in the tank for New Year's Eve.

Gringos should go to the MPAA headquarters building and start throwing rocks at it in protest, as I saw on TV a long time ago when gringos, from the state called Canada, started doing that with a government building when they tried to rise the price of I don't recall what thing...

Indeed, that hand just implies far too much.

To be honest, I sort of like the edited one better anyway.

Apparently The Hill Have Eyes 2 takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the currency is hemp sacks.

I like the new one, to be honest...but I still have to roll my eyes at the sight of the letters M-P-A-and-A.

Damn MPAA?? Yeah fuckin' right - most of horror's prized gory flicks wouldn't be held so dear to our hearts if they weren't cut or censored somehow in the first place. It's what gets taken away, if only until the DVD, that makes one appreciatte what's missing. Same with anything in real life, really. I love the MPAA.

Yeah I'm sure the hand poster will no doubtly be the one used for the unrated DVD's case, while the edited poster will be for the R-rated DVD's.

Ummmm.....I'm confused here. When I click the link in the initial post, it seems that the one with the hand sticking out is the new one while the mummified version is the old one???
Maybe I'm just confused about how one can possibly be seen as "worse" or "better" than the other.

You should also remember that movies are made with the MPAA in mind, that means they tone down even the stuff they shoot keeping in mind that they want the R rating. That means the REALLY good stuff is more often then not never shot. Off the top of my head I know Dressed to Kill had much more extreme stuff scripted that was never shot specifically because of the MPAA.

On the other hand I like the MPAA because it's better than government regulation. As bad as they might be at least they're not a federal body.

Nope, can't get excited about this. The first poster was better, but whatever poster they put up I'll be watching anyway....

I have failed to obtain the email of that dork CEO of the MPAA that appears smiling in the webpage but I've been successfull in gettin' the emails of other persons that work in that institution.

There's a classic saying in spanish that I don't know how to translate to english:

    "Justos pagan por pecadores."

This literally means something like "saint people pay for the sins of the sinners", so I'm already bombarding them with several different emails and from several different IPs, so escape is a bit difficult.

My guess is that they'll soon have to either change personnel or create different network accounts for them.

In the same way as it affects you up there since I import gringo horror, drama, sci-fi movies, etc. and if it comes out censored, edited, cut, etc. I have to suffer that shit too. Thankfully I'm region-free so I can still import from other places where there's a better version.

My ability to import won't be affected by an edited poster. I am sure the MPAA will pay careful attention to an email from Peru.
