I'm interested to see how this one turns out. Although the teaser heavily implies it's going to be a shot for shot remake.

I hope it brings something new to the table.

And I wouldn't mind seeing ultra violent japanese remakes, of american PG-13 horror :D

Not for nothing, but the original Cube was rated R and Canadian

Forgot it was Canadian, and not American :D

But I still wanna see ultra gory Japanese remakes of US horror, as a payback for the kidfriendly US remakes of japanese movies ;)

Cube was already bloody in places.
But I wouldn’t mind if it’s turned into a epic splatter fest, as Japan knows how to bring on the ultra gore.
    Traps with chainsaws please :D

I hope not. Barely any point in doing that with a Japanese remake when they could add more elements to it from Japanese culture. And also seeing that there are a bunch of trap room type movies out these days that are in many ways more elaborate Cube movies. But none that I've seen are better than the Cube trilogy.

I loved the original Cube but didn't care for the two follow ups at all. I actually thought Saw 2 made a better Cube movie but this new one looks like fun!
