Looks good. Not sure I'll see it in a theater, but I'll definitely see it. I'm a fan of Aja's work, especially Haute Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, and Piranha 3-D.

    Looks okey.

Just wish he made another brutal slasher movie instead. Maybe next time.

I agree, but Piranha was pretty friggin brutal, if it's got anywhere near the same amount of carnage as that, then I'd be more than happy!

Still to this day, seeing Aja's Piranha in the theaters in 3D, one of my favorite movie going experiences ever.....(I was on mushrooms)

High Tension is also a personal favorite of mine. I thought Mirrors fucking sucked, but enjoyed his remake of Hills Have Eyes. Really looking forward to this!!

It was amazing. Took em about an hour before showtime. Kicked in hard about 10 mins into it. Not a lot of other people in the theater. My buddy and I had a blast. Walking out of the theater, felt like I was hovering a foot above the ground...... Good times

I saw El Chicano in the theater yesterday and this trailer played. Honestly I was a bit disappointed to see Raimi's name attached to an "alligator" film.

I'll check it out. The lead actress is hot. The plot seems like the one with the Australian alligator in the food store except this time it's in a small home.

^ Yeah, Friday is gonna be a big movie day. Crawl, The Art Of Self Defense, and The Farewell hit theaters (though I think the later two are limited). On VOD, there's Darlin' (sequel to Ketchum's Offspring and The Woman), Trespassers, and Joe Lynch's Point Blank.

I saw Crawl this afternoon in an empty theater and had fun. It's an elevated SyFy channel movie.

It's much better than "girl on a rock" movie The Shallows. Not as much fun as Piranha 3D or Hard Rain. Probably on par with Rogue and 47 Meters Down.

Be aware, it's called Crawl because a majority of the movie takes place in a crawlspace. For the first half, I was a little worried I was in for another "girl on a rock" movie, only this time it was "girl in a crawlspace". Fortunately she is given more to do as the movie goes along, and the second half is pretty action packed. I left the theater satisfied.

This is pretty tame for Aja, but if you're in the mood for a fun but slight little creature feature, this should get the job done.

I think I’ll wait until it shows up on streaming.

This seems similar to the Brian Trenchard -Smith produced MALIBU SHARK ATTACK from 2009.

Was just what I expected from the trailer and the fact it's a killer animal movie. There were about a dozen people in the theater I went to for a Saturday matinee showing. I will say I enjoyed it more than Stuber which had a decent trailer but was a terrible film.

I thought this was pretty fucking cool. Exactly what I was expecting. Glad I caught in the theaters. Been out a couple weeks now and the theater was packed....probably doing pretty good. Which is what I was hoping for, in the best interest in seeing more from Aja.
