One of my favourite composers of all time. And definitely one of the greatest, he created some of the most iconic scores in the history of cinema. He’ll definitely be missed.

RIP. Some great scores. I will play one now while I'm working in his honor.

My favorite composer of all times.
I love his spaghetti western scores.
He did an amazing job, on The Thing.

    RIP

RIP. Very few have made such an impact on film. A truly stellar career. How many others can say they worked with Argento, Leone, Carpenter, Fulci, Pasolini, Bava, Lenzi, De Palma, Almodovar, to name just a few.

His IMDB page is ridiculous. Probably the most impressive resume out there.

Yeah the sheer quantity of films he’s scored is pretty incredible.

I’m glad he at least won an Oscar before he passed. That was long overdue.

While ridiculously overexposed, ranging from a commercial jingle to a metal band lead in, I firmly believe that The Ecstasy Of Gold is the most epic cinematic score ever made. And like most of his work, it fit best in the film it was made for, all other uses have been misguided and hollow efforts.
