Voted Blair Witch Project. That was much scarier to me, than Open Water, and OW was kinda boring.

Loved both but Blair Witch is in my top 5 of all time, so it wins pretty easily.

Not a fan of Open Water, but it had a shark and breasts so it easily gets the nod. Both are snoozefests, but iat least stayed awake during OW.

I think they are both pretty scary, but Open Water has this sequence towards the end which always manages to petrify me so it gets my vote.

I voted Blair Witch. That last scene with the guy standing in the corner freaks me out every time.

Open Water for me hands down. It is one of my favorite movies of all time. I've seen it about 5 times now, and the climax at the end always gets to me.

I absolutely hated both films. I didn't experience anything "scary" in either one, they simply annoyed me. I guess Open Water was a little better, but that's not saying much.

Blair Witch was fantastic. Open water was la la. It seemed somehow uncomplete, like it was too stretched out. There were some decent scares, yes, but during the end I simply did not care at all.

I love both, but The Blair Witch Project is my obvious choice. It's such a terrifying film. The fear of the unknown has never been better realized.

I picked Open Water here because really, the dread of the movie has managed to stick with me for longer. There's just something about it that freaks me out more, I guess. Perhaps it's that the people in Open Water are much more helpless than in Blair Witch. As a friend of mine said at the time,
"Why didn't they just follow the river?!"
In Open Water, there was no such option. :D

Blair Witch...fuck any naysayes, the film will be considered a horror classic in 20 years when a new generation discovers the film without all the hype.

Open Water is quite good as well, definitely had some tense scenes.

    Damn this isn't easy :(

I went with Open Water though, altrhough it could have gone either way. I went with it solely because a) I've watched it more often, b) because it's a film I have been able to introduce to a wider audience through viewings at my home.

    Both are great though.

It wouldn't have mattered anyway. In the film They would walk in the same directing for hours and arrive at the same place they started from. The woods, The Blair Witch or whatever it was wouldn't let them leave.

I agree completely and will not vote for either because I don't want to give either support.
