Good question. I'm curious about this myself, but since they're just now coming out, it's hard to notice the pricing trends just yet.

SRPs are $39.95. Most retailers seem to have them listed between $25 - $30. For the week of their release, DeepDiscount had Mark Of The Devil and Day Of Anger for $20.99 as DealGrabbers. Actually, DD still has Day Of Anger for $20.99 plus there's a 10% off code (HAMMERHEAD) to bring it under $20 if anyone's interested.

So I would guess $20ish will be the typical low, at least if you'd like to get them sooner rather than later. But for now, it's still pretty hard to say.

Picked up Mark Of The Devil and Day Of Anger from Amazon for $25.99 free shipping with Prime.I just pre-ordered Society from them for $27.99 Another place that has pretty good deals on them is Rakuten, even better prices then Amazon if you have a bunch of Super Points to use.

I bought Day of Anger from Amazon UK for $19.00 shipped. Just arrived in today's mail actually. Had I bought the US release from Amazon it would have cost me $28.00 with sales tax. Sure I would have gotten two day Prime shipping, but Amazon UK took exactly seven days to get here. I'd rather save the $9.00.

I would like to buy some of the Arrow US releases, but none that I've wanted have dropped in price enough on my wish list to pull the trigger. Arrow UK titles do drop in price from time to time on Amazon, plus Arrow UK has sales several times per year with good prices (more so on the older titles).

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like its a little wait and see on some of these newer pre orders. Importcds used to have some deals on other companies in the past, but not so much anymore. You barely see people talk about them anymore. Unless I'm missing something there.

Good god, Arrow's Blood and Black Lace is a revelation. The transfer is beautiful, Tim Lucas' commentary is gold. I had the German Blutige Seide (sp?) DVD and this is like seeing the movie for the first time.

I don't know what the fuck is wrong with the North American release of Blood and Black Lace....the amazon.com listing says its coming in December (!) and the .ca listing just says out of stock, and has for weeks. Whatever. I cancelled my .ca pre-order which was sitting at $35 and just ordered from .co.uk. After the VAT came off, it actually ended up coming to around $28 CAD shipped. So suck on that, .ca.

VCI is claiming ownership in North America. So that's the hold up.

Yeah I haven't yet picked up any of their North American releases. They're all $39.99+ in stores here and with the exchange and shipping, they're still cheaper on Amazon UK. I really wanted Day of Anger and Blood and Black Lace but I guess I'll just order them off amazon.

I chose not to wait for Arrow to sort out the issues with B&BL and just ordered a copy directly from Arrow's site. Apparently VCI is claiming US rights, or something to that effect, so who knows when that will get sorted out

Ugh, that really doesn't surprise me. And an eventual VCI release (if that's what's to be) isn't going to touch the Arrow in terms of quality.

Official announcement for Blood Rage is up on Facebook. I'd post all the info if I wasn't on my phone.

Looks like they're also releasing a region free Madman that looks to top the Vinegar Syndrome release.

Glad I didn't waste my time pre-ordering the Vinegar Syndrome version of Madman. Arrows release looks like it kicks the shit out of theirs.

    Spot the differences!

    Vinegar Syndrome:

    Arrow:

In terms of contents, the two discs look almost identical to me. Arrow lists a collector's booklet, while Vinegar Syndrome lists two featurettes that I see no equivalent to on the Arrow disc: Madman: Alive at 35 and In Memoriam. That said, both promise more than what is listed.
