Seen Straw Dogs but not The Wild Bunch. Still didn't know they were Peckinpah films or who he even was lol.

Straw Dogs was good though. Maybe a little too slow burn for me, and Dustin Hoffman's character was extremely frustrating to both me and my wife lol. We were like "Listen to your damn woman dude!". Very effective tension building.

Oates is fantastic in GARCIA, a terrific performance by one of cinemas most underrated actors. By the way, he's wearing Peckinpah's glasses in the movie. I think GARCIA is one of Peckinpah's best films. It's kind of like Welles' TOUCH OF EVIL, not as well known as KANE but darker and more edgy. It's BLEAK.

Could have posted this almost anywhere, but a local used record store just posted a collection they bought, a ton of Arrow horror Blus (but also many Kino, Blue Underground, Criterion, and Vinegar Syndrome titles too). Hope they're still there by the weekend, when I get a chance to visit the store. Their prices are good, but they're not stupid; they know how much these discs are worth, and will price them accordingly (probably in the $10-15 range).

Bullmoose has Elvira for $23.97 for preorder. Not the best price ever, but lowest I've seen so far.

They don't ship outside the US do they? Would have picked up at least Alice Sweet Alice if they did.

    Placed my order.
The Red Queen Kills Seven Times
The Case of the Scorpion's Tale
    Re-Animator
    Orgies of Edo
    FM

Didn't realized till after check out that I had accidentally bought the DVD of Red Queen, not the Blu-Ray. D'oh! I guess I could try to fix the order, but F it. I'll just watch the DVD instead. We're so damn spoiled nowadays, that the DVDs we gushed over in 2001 are now "unwatchable" on our 2K and 4K screens. I'll power through it somehow.

The holographic slipcover on Passion Of Darkly Noon is gorgeous. Did not think this was one of Arrow's bigger releases, so I wasn't expecting one.

Very curious about this movie. Anyone here seen it?

Watched it when it was on Shudder a couple years ago. Wasn't a big fan. I didn't buy the characters or the drama. I enjoyed the director's first film, The Reflecting Skin, a lot more.

I got 5 Arrow movies coming from MVD, I'm good for a while. Plus I don't even wanna know how long it would take to get shipped from the UK now. Man have things changed in just a few weeks! Last year I ordered Anna and the Apocalypse from Amazon UK and got it in 5 days, and one of those days was Christmas! That's damn good shipping during a holiday.
