I have an old Philips DVD player I unlocked for multi-region, but don't have a Blu.

 

Not sure about the Magnavox, but the TOP MENU trick does not work on Sony players. At least it doesn't on my Sony S3200.

 

Just the same transfer of the movie AFAIK.

I have the French Wild Side Tenebrae Blu-ray which is good (waaaay better than the initial Arrow version) but thought I'd give this updated one a go too since it's on sale.

I've probably bought more copies on VHS, laserdisc, DVD and Blu-ray of Tenebrae than any other movie, so I guess another one won't hurt.

 

Synapse is going to release Tenebrae on BD soon.

 

Anybody get their order yet from this last sale Mine was shipped on 3/31 but I still haven't received it yet, just wondering how long is the average ship time to the U.S.?

 

Mine showed up last monday but my Amazon.uk order from the same time hasn't showed up yet.

 

Mine came in about a week ago. Hopefully early this week for you? Sometimes it can take awhile from across the pond. I wouldn't worry TOO much yet.

 

My order shipped the same day, and I received it a few days ago.

UK delivery times to the USA can have wide ranges. I often order stuff from Amazon UK, Zavvi, etc.. and things can take less than a week, and at the extreme a few weeks or a couple of months.

I wouldn't worry about it though, it'll show up.

 

I got one of my 4 items a week ago, and the other 3 (which were shipped same day) have not arrived yet.

 

I got 1 of my 3 titles. However the other 2 are in stock on their website now (have been for a week) but my order for some reason hasn't shipped.

Also I love how I bought both versions of The Killers and of course Criterion announces them this month. However, I do feel that Arrow's releases are pretty Criterion-level already.

Thanks for the heads up Matt. I placed an order for 4 discs. Would have ordered a lot more but I already own them. Best prices I've seen for Lady Snowblood and the Demons combo package.

Paff the Arrow Shivers release is missing about 4 seconds.

the Arrow Shivers is missing 25 seconds in 10 cuts. Guess it depends on which "Uncut" version you compare it to.

They're apparently working on a Blu-ray version of the "complete" version so personally I'm holding out for that.
