I am with you. This has been a top "to find" movie for me for two decades. The fact that it is getting a blu ray special edition of a hugely longer edit is not just icing on the cake, its like getting a second cake free. Now, lets hope the movie doesn't suck. o_O

I shared it here up above. Extremely excited about it ever since reading Nightmare USA. I have never seen this film before. Anthology format, regional horror, & a Sasquatch inspired monster in one story...can't wait!!! Even better that the missing footage has been discovered & added. This might be my #1 most anticipated Code Red future release.

Whoops - how embarrassing! Maybe I missed it because it didn't make a bigger splash in the thread.

You definitely have something to look forward to if you're a fan of regional horror. Creepy indie vibe, cool segments, and perhaps the best finale of any anthology horror.

Short clip from the new Screams of a Winter Night segment, looks seriously awesome:

Meh, I was hoping Humongous would have been up... Or Last Cannibal World, or The Dark... Might check out Scream... Anyone familiar with it? It has a pretty low rating on IMDB, so would I be too optimistic in hoping for some decent slasher thrills?

Code Red released it on DVD a few years ago. I can't recommend it at all - boring, cheap, slow, and not much if anything in the way of what you would describe as "slasher thrills". Really only for completists of underground/regional American low-budget horror filmmaking.

Keep in mind that you're saying this to the guy who loves Honeymoon Horror... ;)

Thank you for your thoughts, though. I do enjoy low-budget regional US horror quite a bit (like The Alien Factor and Malatesta's Carnival of Blood), but a dud is a dud.

Those two (Alien Factor and Carnival of Blood) I also love, but Scream is dreadfully dull.

Eh... definitely Iron Master, Cocaine Wars, and Scream.

I'll wait and see some reviews/comparisons first for Blast Fighter and Hands of Steel. I already have the 88 Films releases, which are solid, and these certainly aren't cheap just to gain a few extras that I would never watch more than once.

I remember In the Aftermath as being pretty disjointed and bad, so probably a pass on that too.

All of those titles are a pass for me. I'm happy about that though as I've been buying way too many movies.

Looks like Ronin might make a lot of us a little light in the wallet. Especially the collector in all of us.

But on the other hand these titles are not the ... cough ... best movies. Take a look at the trailers to refresh your memory. Pretty "bad" movies here. These are not B, they are like C films. Bottom barrel ripoff action flicks. Seriously these should be like $9.99 each tops. And double features at that. The quality, you can easily fit 2 per disc.
