I ordered stuff on the 17th and 19th in October. Got both shipments in late November. Actually the my 19th order, it came 2 weeks after the 17th order. They/he ships in segments according to dates when the store closes. Playing catch up I suppose. Again, like I said before as long as I get my product & it arrives in one piece, I'm a patient guy.

P.S. - I too ordered something on the 4th. Think that's the day the store opened again after being closed for weeks.

Yep, finally got a shipping notification earlier this morning.

Already received it from the Ronin site the other week...

I was a little disappointed with the PQ on the Hide And Go Shriek Blu, but we've been spoiled with Blood Rage, The Mutilator, Sleepaway Camp, etc. It sounds like they did the best with what they had to work with, so I'm happy to finally own it on disc. But since a majority of the movie takes place in dimly lit interiors and the negative was lost (there's a disclaimer before the movie that it was from 35mm), don't expect it to leap off the screen. The interviews were a lot of fun, especially regarding Annette Sinclair's famous boyfriend at the time the movie was filmed.

I had the opposite reaction and thought it looked pretty nice, and of course a big step up from the VHS. I was more disappointed that the showstopping "decapitation" kill is slightly trimmed on the source material, although the full scene is included as a bonus feature (taken from the unedited video release). The movie isn't particularly gory so when that effect comes up it really takes you by surprise.

Ultimately it's a pretty minor nitpick of an otherwise solid release. It's fortunate that a lot of these movies still exist at all, and that there are a host of companies giving them physical releases. I really enjoy Hide And Go Shriek, it's a fun movie that gets overlooked by slasher fans and it's nice to retire the old VHS.

Received my shipping confirmation for the 4th order today. As expected, Bill ships in groups according to days ordered. When certain days shipping are fulfilled, he then opens the store again.

Give it couple more days then try sending an email to codereddvd next week. I'm sure with the holiday season, Bill's frantic trying to get orders out. Probably wouldn't respond to an email so quickly. Paypal was charged/withdrawn already, correct? Because if it wasn't, then maybe the order was never taken. Just a thought. Like I said, send him an email next week with the paypal transaction #ID of the purchase.

I think it's safe to say Bill is no longer shipping orders in which orders were recieved first.

Happy Hell Night looks pretty good. The movie is full of all kinds of odd narrative/cast/directorial choices, but not unentertaining.

I still have yet to watch that one, but just from browsing the disc the transfer looked quite solid. I saw the film years ago, and liked it then... but I definitely need to revisit it to comment on how it holds up.

    Watched Slaughterhouse Rock. Solid PQ.

I've never seen it before but it was fun cheese. Really dug the score by Devo and the demon effects.

Agree. Loved the dream sequence where the killer pulls the guy's internal organs out. I remember reading about this in Fangoria, was nice to finally see it and looking really good, no less.
