What other movie were you thinking of? I'm only familiar with Paganini Horror. Seems rather singular in concept to have another film use an identical poster!
Never seen Karate Warrior, but that one at least sounds like it could be some fun cheese and I'll eventually check it out. Paganini Horror on the other hand I have seen and is pretty bad though... for Italian horror completists only.
I'm gonna try and find out what movie it was. Can't remember much, except that it was a boring late 80:s Giallo, which didn't fit at all with the supernatural look of the cover. There were nothing supernatural in the movie, just a bit of an gothic look at times. It had that exact poster on the cover, and it was an old German DVD, that I owned in the early 2000:s. But then again, some of the posters for these movies, was reused for other films, in different regions, which made it a confusing mess at times. If I find the movie I owned, I get back to you.
Paganini Horror is no masterpiece, to be sure, but more fitting for horror movie fans than something like Cannibal Holocaust 2. I have it on X-Rated DVD (from way back) and I might consider an upgrade.
Lol! 5 minutes into Paganini Horror, the girlband is playing a shameless rip off of the Bon Jovi song "You give Love a Bad name". They basically only changed the lyrics

Oh it is. I have the clamshell case dvd versions of Killer Crocodile and the sequel. Fun movies. I should maybe revisit these this weekend.

I guess this line dried up? Too many DVD holdouts still waiting for an HD upgrade: Caribbean Papaya Black Demons The Ogre (aka Demons III) Ghosthouse (a better version is needed) Witchery (88's edition is DNR'd to smithereens) ...among many others, some never even got a DVD. Vinegar Syndrome will take up some of the slack, I guess, but there's a LOT of stuff out there
House on the Edge of the Park (1980) coming soon to 4K UHD from 88: https://www.facebook.com/dawnofthediscs/posts/1662177554125457 You just know Severin will be doing a 4K release shortly then as well...
Definitely. I just ordered Zeder yesterday from Orbit DVD ($6 cheaper than Diabolik ). I have yet to see any reviews for it yet, but I love the movie... and the US Code Red Blu-ray is crap. The German "Mediabook" Blu-ray was pretty good... but this looks like a far nicer package. I've always liked 88 from their very first releases. Full Moon flicks, Slasher line, Italian films... my kinda studio.
