I had a Philips DVP642 for about three years before giving it to my brother, which was a region-free player. I now have a Philips DVP5140. Got it for about $70 at Best Buy. It too goes region-free. You have to hack it, though. It's very simple. You can find how to do it just about everywhere online and it is a very good player. No skips, no jumps, proper PAL-NTSC transfer, everything. I've been quite satisfied.

There really is no excuse not to be region-free. Hell, you can download a program that will enable any DVD to play on your DVD-ROM drive. (I, personally used DVDX Player 3.0 Professional). You can download it on just about any torrent site. It's quite simple.

    A couple more..

    The Screaming Woman (1972)
    Terror on the Beach (1973)

and non horror related but I would love a release of..

A Cry for Help: The Tracey Thurman Story (1989)

Or what about a release of the Spanish short..

    La Cabina (1972)

Or a non no name brand release of the Creepy Documentary that Rob Zombie borrowed from for House of 1000 Corpses.

    Manson (1973)

Maybrick, you had me at Rip Taylor...

BTW: I agree with all of the above, plus ISHTAR. I never got to see it when it played theatrically and, although I'm sure that its legend is much greater than its fact, I'd really like to see what all of the fuss was about.

Since Darga mentioned a couple of the punk rock movies, let's add the incredible punk/new wave concert film:

    URGH: A Music War!

Yes I'm still waiting for these:

Little darlings (WTF is the hold up with this?)
Legend of Billie Jean (Can't believe we are still waiting for this)
Certain fury (Gee the VHS of this was re-issued over and over again)
The Stepfather (Yes just Halloween and Evil dead re-issued 100 times)
Slaughter high (O.k. Don't go in the woods is out on DVD but not this?)
Vibes (This was a cable hit and 80's gem)
Light of day (Every Michael J Fox film on DVD but this one?)
Batman Filmation (We get the awful Batmite one but not the original cartoon?)
Batman (All 3 seasons should be out by now it is crazy)
