Yeah thats what I did, a store here called Hastings, they didn't give me a whole lot for it, but I was selling a few other used CDs so I got a few bucks in store credit out of it.

Ah, then you feel my pain, lol, looks like we'll both have to get that CD again.

Ah, well good, that stuff gets confusing after a while, as a somewhat completist I always want to have the best available versions possible, but some of that definitely seems overkill. I think I'll hold off on those Jap versions for now, like u said I don't know how much better those could be over the remastered versions. I do think I'm going to get the 2004 version of In the Wake of Poseidon though since its got a few extra tracks added on there.

Wow that is hella steep, but then again those Buy It Nows are always super expensive, theres a reason its still listed on there I'm sure at that price, yowzers. Excellent show, I saw him twice on his In The Flesh tour, and twice on the DSOTM tour, once in 06 and once in 08, had to travel a bit to see them though.

Let me ask you this, ever since we started talking about KC, i was looking up on Amazon and i guess they have some new remasters and a few japanese remasters, I have the gatefold ones from 2000 but I'm wondering is there any improved diffrence from the newer ones and is there any diffrence between the US and Japan JVC cds?

Hey I didnt see that u posted this on your side not on mine. Anyways, as we were talking about Pink Floyd, I consider myself pretty much a completist for anything Floyd, still lacking a few items but I'll pick them up quite shortly, still though with that in mind I hate to ask how much those MFSL albums are going for, probably an arm and a leg huh? I do have a few bootlegs as well, had the pleasure of seeing Roger Waters live 4 diffrent times which is an absolute treat and I can't recommend enough since now a full fledged Floyd reunion is impossible, still though its pretty good.

I'm not in a hurry with Pink Floyd. I listened to them a lot (on tape) when I was about eight or nine and basically got tired of them for years. It's only since a couple of years I can really appreciate them again.

The Pompei DVD is great though :)

If you like AOR you could try the Billy Sherwood/Chris Squire project "Conspiracy" or Sherwood's CIRCA: with Alan White (Yes) and Tony Kaye (Yes)

      Sounds AOR enough, right?

The original USA recordings were released a couple of years as part of The Collectable King Crimson Part 1, by the way. Also recommended :D

I do like Pink Floyd but I don't have all their stuff. I'm a big fan of Roger Waters though.
Last year I bought the original UK pressing of Dark Side of the Moon which is superior to even the MFSL Gold disc. Also bought the black label Japanese pressing of Wish you were Here which is also superior to the MFSL.
Now I'm on a quest for Meddle MFSL. One of my favorites I used to have on tape years ago. The thing is damn expensive. The cheapest version I could find is around 90 Euro (= $115), second hand.

I'd hear of the Wetton/Downes Icon and UK before, haven't given any of there stuff a listen though, but I'm familiar with Jobson from the overdubbing on KC's USA as well as his stint in ROxy Music and Bozzio from Missing Persons. I love progressive but I'm also a fan of AOR music too, I'll check out some of those releases you mentioned when I get a few free dollars to my name. Are you a fan of Floyd by chance?

Well sounds like you've definitely got more than me, I do hope to pick up some more of the stuff I don't have in the near future but you should see my cd/music list, so sometimes I have to just take it as it comes. I do have Deja Vroom DVD which I guess is pretty much my main Projeckts/6 man lineup output.

What are some good live ones you can recommend? I've got Cirkus Young Persons guide to KC Live and USA as well as Steve Hackett Tokyo tapes which has Wetton and Ian McDonald which was pretty good I thought. As far as personal lineup faves, well I'd say I like mainly both the Lake and Wetton ones, I did like the boz/mel collins one as well but I don't know, I just seem to find myself mainly listening to those, they're all good though if u ask me, kind of like which kid do you like best you know, they all have strengths and things I like, just depends though. Do you like Asia at all?

I agree, I've got all there studio albums from in the court of the crimson king till three of a perfect pair and power to believe, as well as some live and 21st century schizoid band album too, never got to see them live which I bet would be a fun treat.

Thank you so much I so totally appreciate that link. I'm downloading as we speak. Hey ya know what 2 Giallo's films I have always wanted to see? Corruption of Chris Miller & So Sweet, So Dead. I been lurking everywhere online and they don't appear to have ever been released on DVD. I want to see them so bad very frustrating! :(

      Oops!I totally missed your message!

I only have the AB edition.Which is indeed very grainy but I don't mind. The picture is sharp.
I have seen some screenshot of the NS release and although the grain is gone the detail seems also gone.
There are several threads about the difference between the releases.

I don't feel the need to upgrade right now.
